About this work
My work is filled with images of air, water, animal and plant life and the strange relationships between the way we as humans experience our world with the forces of the universe acting upon our sense of reality. In some ways my work displays similarities with works of the surrealist movement; but in my work the strangeness is actually grounded in our understanding of the forces of nature that drive the universe through the metaphors I create in my paintings.
