About this work
For many years we walked in Scotland, near Kinlochewe and Loch Marree, which is on the West Coast. It is imprinted on my mind, and all those precious memories come to the fore when I look at this painting, and certainly when I painted it. I have been here in all sorts of weather, including four seasons in one day!
