About this work
'Boundary' is painted in rich brushstrokes of oil on canvas. My fascination with figures in water can be seen in many of my works - the reflective and transitory nature of water has, for me, a quality of the indefinable, a depth and mystery that mirror the human soul. The boundary of the title is the tremulous edge between air and water, the outer and inner life, the persona and anima.
