About this work

Ladybird is about transformation and connection. It’s about shedding old versions of yourself and finding your essence. While she was deeply rooted in her own essence she connected with this beautiful messenger from the bird world. She barely knows he’s there, as if he’s always belonged. Through her relationship with nature, she is transformed. The concept was inspired by our connection with the animal world. She's like a modern day Snow White.
