About this work
This portrait emerged from a real encounter and time shared between the artist and the sitter. Rather than simply capturing a physical likeness, the work seeks to convey the subject's presence, vulnerability, and humanity. Through a slow and attentive gaze, the painting invites the viewer to pause and recognize the emotional depth behind every face, transforming an intimate experience into a universal reflection on empathy, human connection, and the fundamental need to be truly seen.
