About this work
"Memories of my childhood spent in New Zealand remind me those endless summer days spent wishing I was an adult." This artwork is part of a collection of twelve collages made using hand cut images and digital editing. The symmetry of the blooms aligns with the balance of the counter balance emotions such as joy and sadness, happiness and loss. The passing of time is bittersweet and as the years flow by, I am reminded of my childhood garden and the tropical flowers used in this collage.
