About this work
A dreamlike seascape - or is it? I have invited the viewer to interpret the bleached sand colours, blue to lilac horizon as an abstract seascape. But with collaged chandelier, plants, and other whimsical objects in the painting, it takes the painting into the realms of surrealism. This painting was a creation of sanctuary whilst experiencing angst at our modern world.
