About this work
Inspired by the image of Susan Dell (the American businesswoman and wife of Michael Dell), stood next to Donald Trump in the Oval Office on October 7th 2026. She looked uncomfortable and stilted and had a glazed fixed stare. She then received backlash on her appearance post this meeting. Are We Ok? symbolises everything that's wrong with this world - sexism, vanity, trolling, greed. Susan is screaming inside - this is what I was attempting to convey. Susan is acrylic paint on canvas with plastic goggly eyes as her eyes.
