About this work
Tetris magna is a playful exploration of the duality between digital and physical play. I reimagined the iconic video game from my childhood with magnetic construction tiles from my 2nd childhood (as a mother). It bridges two childhood eras: the 80s kids for whom video games were a revolution, and today's kids born into an always-online world but encouraged to engage in hands-on, imaginative play in order to not lose touch with the real world.
