By examining industries like glossy magazines and cosmetics, I highlight how appearance-related concerns are perpetuated. The notion that attending public events without makeup is seen as bold, and the prevalent use of filters on social media, exemplify the relentless beauty standards. My aim is to challenge these patriarchal and capitalist pressures, advocating for women's empowerment and envisioning a future where self-expression and acceptance are not constrained by outdated norms. Archival pigment prints on fine art, museum-quality paper. Signed and numbered by the artist with a certificate of authenticity. Sold unframed, with framing options available upon request.
