About this work

Warp and weft is the actual terminology of weaving: the warp threads hold tension while the weft weaves in and out—two forces, a metaphor for interpersonal relationships. The fist gripping the sheet could point towards intimacy / birth, tension, pain, or ecstasy—or all of the above.
