Where the Light Falls

Über dieses Werk

Living beside the ocean in Los Cabos has profoundly influenced my work. My Submerged series evolved from my experience painting clouds, transforming their soft, atmospheric forms into flowing underwater plumes. I am fascinated by the interplay of light, color, depth, and movement, and how these elements create a sense of energy and atmosphere within a painting. Working with multiple layers of richly pigmented oils, I build luminous underwater environments that feel both powerful and weightless. Each painting captures the beauty, mystery, and ever-changing movement of water, inviting the viewer into an immersive world beneath the surface.
