ICA Miami Names Gensler As Architect For New Wing

ICA Miami's selection of Gensler to design its new 30,000-square-foot wing, opening in late 2027, is a significant development. This expansion will house the museum's permanent collection and substantially increase public programming space. For emerging women artists, this news signals a growing institutional landscape with increased capacity to acquire, exhibit, and engage with contemporary art. Such expansions often translate into new opportunities for artists, from potential acquisitions to participation in diverse public programs.
