In Chloe Wise’s ‘Extrasensory’ Basel Show, UFOs Meet Scripture

Chloe Wise's 'Extrasensory' show at Basel offers a compelling lesson in artistic courage, merging the unexpected themes of UFOs and scripture. Wise observes how "The Bible and religion sanitize and domesticate something that’s so wild." For emerging women artists, this exhibition underscores the power of reclaiming and reinterpreting established narratives. Don't shy away from juxtaposing disparate concepts or questioning what’s considered sacred. Your unique perspective can deconstruct conventional understanding, revealing raw truths and sparking fresh dialogue. Embrace the 'wild' in your vision, letting it challenge and transform. — Source: Artnet News
