U.K. Museums Association Unites With American Alliance of Museums Against Trump

The recent solidarity between the UK Museums Association and the American Alliance of Museums against the Trump administration’s attacks on the Smithsonian sends a powerful message. This international pushback condemns politicized attempts to undermine vital cultural institutions. For emerging women artists, this isn't just news; it's reassurance. It underscores that major art organizations are fiercely dedicated to protecting the independence and integrity of institutions that showcase art. This collective defense ensures that the platforms you aspire to exhibit in remain free from undue political influence, preserving spaces where diverse artistic voices can thrive without fear, securing the future of creative expression. — Source: Artforum
