Statement
Each canvas and photograph is an intimate dialogue, revealing the profound depth within form. I am drawn to the quiet power of still life and the resonant gaze of portraiture. My practice is deeply rooted by the dramatic interplay of light and darkness, echoing the masterful compositions of Caravaggio and Vermeer. For me, each creation is a continuous journey of discovery; every piece is an exploration, pushing my technique and skill. This engagement is not merely an artistic pursuit but an essential practice, a vital space for me, where observation, emotion, and technical challenge converge, continually refining my understanding of both subject and self. Through this constant pursuit, I aim to invite viewers into an intimate space of visual intrigue, to see beauty through my eyes.
