Statement

Hi, I’m Guðný Stefnisdóttir, the artist behind gaja art. I create vibrant, textured paintings inspired by nature, abstract landscapes, birds, flowers, and spiritual figures. My work blends color, movement, and layered detail to capture both the energy and quiet beauty I see in the world around me. I work mainly in painting, acrylic, oil, mixed media, and ink drawing,watercolor and I’m especially interested in creating pieces that feel calm, expressive, and alive. I’m building my art business and love connecting with people who respond to art that brings emotion, atmosphere, and a sense of place into a space.
