I am an abstract artist based in Bad Nauheim, Germany, where I have been working as a full-time independent artist since 2016. My work is deeply influenced by Scandinavian design and the landscapes of Northern Europe—their sense of calm, simplicity, openness, and subtle beauty. These inspirations are reflected in my minimalist visual language, reduced color palettes, and the atmosphere of quiet contemplation that runs through my paintings.

Statement

I am an abstract artist based in Bad Nauheim, Germany, where I have been working as a full-time independent artist since 2016. My work is deeply influenced by Scandinavian design and the landscapes of Northern Europe—their sense of calm, simplicity, openness, and subtle beauty. These inspirations are reflected in my minimalist visual language, reduced color palettes, and the atmosphere of quiet contemplation that runs through my paintings. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas and high-quality paper, I build my pieces through multiple layers using palette knives, wide brushes, and fluid color gradients. I often incorporate pastel and oil crayons, acrylic markers, and sand to create depth, texture, and unexpected surface details. Characterized by cool, restrained tones and nuanced textures, my abstract compositions explore the balance between structure and spontaneity. Through carefully layered surfaces and subtle contrasts, I seek to create spaces of stillness—works that invite viewers to slow down, reflect, and find a sense of inner balance.
