About this work

A quiet interplay of depth, texture, and movement. My painting “Flow 2” is part of my mini painting collection. Deep plum and muted violet tones blend into one another, creating a subtle sense of movement and depth. Delicate textures and soft transitions reveal themselves upon closer observation, giving the artwork a mysterious yet calming presence. Painted on raw, unprimed canvas, the natural surface adds an organic character to the composition. The contrast between the dark, expressive tones and the minimalist white floating frame creates a refined, contemporary aesthetic. I personally love to combine this monochrome piece in Burgundy shades with my “Light Blue 2” mini painting - this color combination is an absolute favorite of mine! About the artist

I am an abstract artist based in Bad Nauheim, Germany, where I have been working as a full-time independent artist since 2016. My work is deeply influenced by Scandinavian design and the landscapes of Northern Europe—their sense of calm, simplicity, openness, and subtle beauty. These inspirations are reflected in my minimalist visual language, reduced color palettes, and the atmosphere of quiet contemplation that runs through my paintings.
