About this work
This series depicts a body partially wrapped in medical bandages within a desert landscape. Functioning both as devices of care and instruments of constraint, these bandages embody the tension between injury and the attempt to heal, revealing the vulnerability inherent in the experience of exile. The images are constructed through layers of visual elements: bandage textures, fragments of scars, and references to Iran are interwoven across the photographic surface. These overlapping strata create a fragmented perception in which memory appears unstable, shaped by rupture, displacement, and loss.
