About this work
This piece I borrowed a song's title: "Over the Hill". this song brought me tears ever time I listened to it. To truly understand it, you probably need to be over 40 years old . 40 is when you cross the first hill of life. Before that age, you hardly know what a hill is—because only after you have crossed it can you turn back and see its shape. The wild running of your twenties, the easy triumphs of your thirties, all remain faint and distant now, left somewhere on the other side of that hill. The flower of life has already bloomed. What you gain and what you lose both seem part of a design long set in motion...
