About this work
Pink Jail looks at the tension between comfort and confinement. The soft pink texture feels gentle and almost inviting, but the saturated blue frame creates a sense of restriction. The work reflects how something beautiful, familiar or emotionally safe can also become limiting when it starts to close in on us.
