About this work

This work centres on memory and contradiction. It recalls the warmth of family gatherings. The laughter, the ritual of hunting, and the sharing of food, while quietly acknowledging what that food once was. The memory speaks to tradition, to moments of joy. Yet just beyond the table lies the forest, the place the animals belonged to and were taken from.
