A spectral self-portrait suspended between presence and disappearance. The body seems to multiply and dissolve through movement, while fabric, shadow, and flesh merge into a dreamlike apparition—as though several moments, or several selves, were trying to inhabit the same image.
About the artist
Claire Sibille Passmore is a Anglo-French photographer exploring self-portraiture, femininity, and the construction of identity. For the past three years, she has used the camera as a space for transformation and self-invention. Her ongoing series La Dernière Impératrice explores a woman’s authorship of her own image. She is a finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize.
