Statement
My work explores change and the different moments that surround it: the uncertainty of being in transition, and what comes afterwards, when things begin to settle and we start to understand what remains. I work with acrylics and inks on unprimed cotton canvas, allowing the paint to soak directly into the fabric. I build each piece through diluted layers, movement and areas of exposed canvas, usually without starting from a fixed composition. I respond to what happens on the surface, allowing unexpected marks and shifts in the material to become part of the work. My current series approach these ideas from different perspectives. Passage focuses on the space between what was and what comes next, while Whispers looks at the quieter period after change, when experiences, memories and emotions begin to find their place. Painting is my way of processing these moments without trying to fully explain or resolve them.
Commissions
I take commissions for bespoke abstract paintings, including large-scale works, tailored to specific spaces, colour palettes and dimensions while remaining consistent with my existing practice.
