About this work
*Everything’s Fine* is a satirical ceramic vessel exploring the normalisation of violence, patriarchal power and the expectation that women quietly manage the consequences. Women attempt to protect and comfort one another while suited men engage in casual gestures of aggression, seemingly oblivious to the chaos unfolding around them. An incoming missile looms overhead, heightening the sense of impending disaster. Through dark humour and playful imagery, the work examines the absurdity of maintaining appearances in a world where everything is very clearly not fine.
