About this work

Patterns of behavior Behavioral patterns shape themselves quietly throughout our lives. Everyone has them. They are formed in small moments, through repetition, in the things we feel, think, and do without always realizing it. Thoughts come and go, sometimes light as drifting clouds, sometimes heavy and all-consuming. But patterns remain. They settle into the fabric of our daily lives and color the way we respond to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. Some patterns offer stability. They create rhythm, safety, and familiarity. Others hold us back, as if we keep walking the same road over and over again, even when it no longer leads us where we want to go. What makes patterns so powerful is that they often outlast a single thought. A thought can disappear, fade, and make room for something new. But what repeats itself grows roots. Still, that does not mean we are bound to them forever. Awareness is often the first step toward change. The moment we begin to notice what keeps returning, space opens up. Space to understand where it comes from, why it may once have been necessary, and whether it still serves us now. Within that space lies the possibility of choice. Not all at once, but little by little. Because although thoughts come and go and patterns remain, every person also carries the ability to break old cycles and create new movement. Change often begins in small ways: in a moment of insight, in a different response, in the courage not to do automatically what once seemed natural. And that is where growth lives — in the realization that what is deeply rooted does not have to stay unchanged. 120 x 90/ sketch, drawn and painted wirth acryl
