About this work
A reclining female figure is expressed through vivid reds and oranges, deep shadows and contrasting blue-green fabric. Energetic brushwork gives Aflame a sense of movement and heat. This original oil painting explores the female form through expressive colour and a strong physical presence. Original oil on deep-edge canvas. 40 inches wide × 30 inches high (101.6 × 76.2 cm). A unique original painting by Roberta Heslop.
