Maureen Grayson is a London based abstract artist and sculptor working in mixed media. Her Award Winning nature and environmental inspired works include The Women In Art Prize, London Invitational, and ING Discerning Eye.

Statement

I chase the fantasies existing within nature itself. With the use of textures and, often, found materials, I recreate the mood and feel of the natural environment through layers of tactile engagement. Although I am not a traveller, this is my path towards a wider exploration of the world I live in, an out of body experience transferred to a variety of substrates.
