About this work

Liberation is an oil painting on canvas, 90 x 70cm, part of my collection The Path. I wanted to capture the feeling of arrival, the moment everything settles into place, not just in your mind but in every part of you. To express this, I painted a woman on the shore at golden hour, arms raised, releasing a scarf into the wind, her whole body open to the sky and free. Painted wet-on-wet in warm golds and ambers, the light glows through her — this is a woman who has left behind what no longer serves her, arriving in a place that finally feels like hers. I created this painting to hold that exact moment: the deep breath, the space, the overwhelming feeling of I'm here, I actually did it. I hope it gives you a glimpse of what that feeling can hold for you too. Liberation is one of 21 paintings in The Path, my collection born from inner work, capturing the life that opens up once we start living with more honesty, freedom, and joy.
