Risen

About this work

A woman emerges from deep shadow in fiery reds and oranges. Risen explores the courage and uncertainty of finding your footing after change, allowing strength and vulnerability to sit together. Part of the Abreast collection, this expressive figurative painting can honour a new beginning and the journey that made it possible. Original oil on deep-edge canvas, 2026. Framed. Canvas dimensions: 76.2 cm wide × 101.6 cm high; frame adds to the overall size. This is a unique original painting.
