Where the Water Holds the Sky

About this work

This painting started with no particular plan. I worked intuitively, layer upon layer of colour and texture. It developed into something atmospheric. The layers of grey, muted pink and light began to suggest water, sky and reflections. I liked the where it arrived at a point where the boundaries became unclear - hence the title.
