Artemis - Le vrai Nord

À propos de cette œuvre

Artemis stands as guardian and guide, embodying instinct, protection, and direction. Aligned with True North, this work reflects the inner compass that remains steady even when the landscape shifts. She reminds us to trust what we already know. Metal leaf catches the light as you move around the piece - a subtle shimmer which catches the eye. Painted on raw canvas with frayed, unfinished edges that are integral to the work. Framed in a beautiful metallic finish Italian frame. Ready to hang.

À propos de l'artiste

I am a mixed-media artist working from my studio in Bolton, Lancashire, trading as Quiet Thunder. My work is painted using watercolours on a non traditional background of raw canvas. Edges are left deliberately frayed to evoke a certain fragility. Hand stitch, metallic leaf and hand-stamped metal add to the stories drawn from myth and ancestry.
