About this work

Colour resonates with me before language forms, guiding my response before I can articulate my thoughts. My process begins with colour, which shapes the floral forms as they emerge. I intentionally leave some awkward marks, as they reflect aspects of myself. The finished canvas achieves a balance I rarely find in daily life, allowing contradictions to coexist without resolution. Colour leads me to this place before I can reason my way there.
